Ever since Barrack Obama has stated the US will be bombing IS targets in Syria , citizens have have been waiting in fear. Specifically , the city of Raqqa which has citizens who are with the IS and citizens whom are very much against it. In Raqqa, IS has taken over and embedded itself within the city. In this town , the brutality from IS includes slaughter in the middle of the city's main square , even to the point where families refuse to bring their children to the park. Raqqa's new IS rules has greatly affected the woman of the city by not letting them continue with their academic studies and making the dress code for woman harsh.
This shows that war definitely affects it's citizens in a negative way. Not only are the citizens sitting in fear of an air strike that is on its way , but their other rights are being restricted. It seems to be evident that these air strikes will get members/supporters of the IS , but at the same time be taking out innocent civilians. How many innocent civilians will it take to remove the IS threat completely? With war comes great impacts and hard decisions that have to be made.
