Thwres blood The Army Public School and College in the city of Peshawar was gunned down on Tuesday by the Taliban. 148 total people were killedand most of these people were children. The Taliban members shouted "God is great" as they flooded the school and began shooting immediately. Below are some photos of the school and they are graphic.
This first picture is of the public school auditorium the day after the Taliban gunned it down. As you can see chairs are flipped over and broken. They had wrecked the place.
This is another view of the auditorium. Theres blood all over the floor and papers and chairs are scattered.
Theres are the walls outside the auditorium. in the backround you can clearly see all the wreckage from the attack.
This is the principles room in the school. The Taliban gunned more than just the auditorium.
This is a Pakistani soldier standing in the school with books and papers surrounding him on the floor.
Another ciew of the building. I believe this is the entrance to the school.
These are horrifying photos Amanda: a truly distressing photo-essay in the genre of Jacob Riis.
