While looking for recent cases that were along the lines of racism I came across this old one that stuck out like a sore thumb. This case took place in Minnesota on January 31 when a 27 year old colored mannamed Lolli was sitting in front of a First National Bank. An employee approached him and asked him to move. Police were then called to the scene as they began to question Lollie who was just waiting to get his kids from school. Lollie made it clear that there was no problem that he was sitting there, there was no "private property" sign or anything that said he could not sit there. Also he was by himself not causing a problem. In the video I attached below you can see the officer while she is laughing in his face as he is trying to explain the facts and figure out as to why they are attacking him. As the male police officer shows up an argument arises and things escalate quickly. The male officer immediately tried to grab Lollie and arrest him and Lolli immediately resists asking what he had done wrong. Once Lolli puts down his phone you start to hear screaming and a faint child yelling in the background. You start to hear clicking like the stun gun doing off and Lolli starts to yell for help and repeatedly yells "Those are my kids right there somebody help me!" At this point in the video I turned it off infuriated because personally I don't think Lolli was doing anything wrong and just like Lolli stated, they only approached him and called the police because he was a black male sitting in front of a bank. We all know and understand that racism is out there and people still use it today. It may not be as worse as it was in the past but it is still out there. Lolli was initially charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct and obstructing the legal process. These charges were dropped in July but police didnt return his cell phone until that time so Lolli couldn't upload this video until recently. The link to the video of the altercation is down below.

Oh, I came across that one too. It's hard to view that video and not feel as though the officer was responding to something other than an immediate threat.
