Riots Gone Too Far?

A riot about the Ferguson situation broke out in South Minneapolis protesting against the decision to not charge former Officer Darren Wilson for the shooting of Michael Brown. The riots have always been extremely wild but now it is clear from this footage that they are getting completely out of control. An innocent woman was run over by a car who drove through the crowd of angry people and dragged about 20 feet against the street and was taken to the hospital. Now innocent people are being injured during these protests and it is not helping the situation at all. It obviously was an accident but it was a reckless incident that could of been avoided. These riots are just making everything much worse and by using violence to get points across we are putting people in danger. I believe these riots should be stopped even if they don't seem potentially violent because we have no way of telling if they will escalate or not. We must take proper precautions in order to protect civilians and stop all the madness that is now occurring. These riots aren't proving people's points, they are just showing that we as Americans cannot act maturely and responsibly about these issues we face as a country. There needs to be new ways to express concerns without having crowds of people standing in the street and causing disturbances and now hurting people. This is now going to add to the list of chaos and issues that have presented themselves throughout the months. Yes, people are upset and yes, people are allowed to express their feelings and opinions. But look at what it is doing to us. We are turning against each other without even knowing it. And it needs to stop before it gets any worse.
