Poverty

   As of 2012 the precent of people living in poverty in Manorville was 2.24% and the precent of families is 1.36% which is lower than New York which is 14.90% for people and 11.38% for families. Not shocking since the per capita income is $40,343, which is higher then the state avrage of $32,104 and higher than the national avrage of $28,051.

   In Eastport the population in poverty is 7.56% but for families in poverty it's only 4.19% as of 2012. Which like Manorville is lower than New York, but Manorville's precent is lower than Eastport. The per capita income for Eastport is $40,117, which is also higher than the state and national avrage but just under Manorville's.
