Freelance cameraman, Ashoka Mukpo who is 33 years old, was diagnosed with Ebola in Liberia. He spent two weeks at the hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. Today, October 21st he was released from the hospital and got to go home. he had 3 consecutive days that he was tested for the virus and it came up negative. Something the United States is doing to prevent Ebola from spreading is that they are screening anyone who has come in from West African countries to see if they test positive for Ebola. In Dallas, a second nurse had gotten Ebola from someone from Liberia. Officials have announces that a state-of-the-art Ebola treatment and infectious disease bio containment facility will be created in north Texas. UT Southwestern Medical Center, Methodist Hospital System and Parkland hospital System will work together on getting the new facility up and running.
