Another American Life Taken By ISIS

The White House confirmed due to a viral video posted that 26-year-old Peter Kassig was beheaded by the terrorist group ISIS. The video that surfaced was different from the previous ones presented by ISIS. This video was longer, did not include a statement from Kassig, and the speaker named the location that the beheading took place.
Peter Kessig first went to the Middle East as an American soldier but then later became an American aid worker. He has helped struggling, innocent Syrians who were negatively effected by the conflicts going on in Syria. He was a humanitarian and who saved lives and helped the injured.                      ISIS has claimed that he is now the fifth person to be beheaded. He was captured over a year ago and held hostage. During his captivity he converted to Islam and went by the name Abdul-Rahman Kassig. And before he was killed video messages were sent and posted on Youtube where ISIS threatened Kassig's life multiple times and in return; Kassig's family posted a video as well begging for them to free him.
This incident has now put more pressure on our military and country. Another American has been lost when he was trying to do good. This has frightened people more, fearful of what ISIS will do next.
