Poverty Problem and Solution

This website https://mentorsinternational.org takes donations to help families in poverty in developing countries. You don't have to donate much but anything can help.  I donated $5 towards the cause.

• "School is not a possibility for those whose families who don’t make enough to provide even the bare essentials. As a result, few progress."  

For many people that live in poverty getting an education is not an option. But this organization offers classes about money management and life skills to help people get on their feet.

• "People in developing countries who live in poverty don’t have access to banks or collateral. The village loan shark charges very high interest rates on a tiny loan. Hard-earned profits go straight back into the loan shark’s pocket, and people are locked in a cycle of debt payments that leave them with almost no profit to show for their routine 80-hour work weeks. They have nothing with which to expand their businesses and nothing with which            to improve their families’ well-being. This harmful lending is common in developing countries" 

This organization gives entrepreneurs loans that they would not be able to get in their country.  This helps the countries economy because they use the loans to buy tools and materials from their country.  It also gives them a chance to hire employees and spread the wealth.  It can inprove the products quality aswell as the variety of products offered.
